Bèstia

Synopsis

Bèstia is a portrait of three hunters from inland Catalonia. Palomero, an Andalusian grandfather who, after a hard life, spends his last years hunting with a group of young people; Bernat, a gun enthusiast who feels trapped in the village; and ‘Nen’, a solitary man who maintains a special relationship with nature.
Three characters who live outcasts of society and embody the conflicts of a rural world in contrast to a society driven by a fast-paced world and urban environment.
Without judgment, the film follows the gaze of a young vegan filmmaker searching for the primal essence of humanity and its survival today.
